Career
Tammy leads the Business & Private Bank, which provides banking products and services to approximately 700,000 small to medium businesses (SMEs), corporates, and specialised industry customers, as well as high net worth private banking customers.
The goal of Business & Private Bank is to be the best bank for small to medium Australian businesses looking to start, run, grow or transition, and the leading bank for high-net-worth Australians.
Tammy has extensive experience in financial services and banking leadership in North America, Australia and Asia across institutional, corporate and international markets.
Over her 17 year career with ANZ, she has held a number of senior roles including Managing Director of ANZ’s Institutional business across Australia and Papua New Guinea, leading coverage of multinational corporates, agribusiness clients and Australia’s largest listed companies, serving as Chief Executive Officer of ANZ Bank Laos, and acting as Chief of Staff to the Group Chief Risk Officer.
Prior to joining ANZ, Tammy was an infrastructure credit analyst at Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services and Assistant Vice President with JP Morgan Chase’ in New York City.
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, Robert H. Smith School of Business. She has also completed executive programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management and Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Tammy is a member of Chief Executive Women.
