Career
Ben Kelleher was appointed Group Executive and Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand in October 2026.
He has over 20 years’ experience in both the business consulting and financial services sectors in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Ben is responsible for overseeing the running of ANZ Bank NZ Ltd, which includes our network of retail branches, contact centres and banking specialists across New Zealand, who take care of over two million personal and business customers. Prior to accepting this role, Ben was Chief Risk Officer, ANZ NZ.
Ben has a Masters of Management Studies with Distinction and Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours from the University of Waikato, and is Australian Institute of Company Directors qualified (GAICD).
