Career
Rachel has more than 25 years of experience in banking, with deep customer experience across retail, business, private and transaction banking. She has a record of customer-led strategy and large-scale transformation as well as an understanding of complex banking environments and focus on high quality customer outcomes.
Rachel's executive career includes serving as Group Executive, Business & Private Banking at National Australia Bank (NAB) from 2024 to 2025, where she led NAB's largest division with responsibility for small business, agribusiness, private banking and advisory businesses. Prior to this, she served as Group Executive, Personal Banking from 2020 to 2024 and Group Executive, Chief Customer Experience Officer from 2018 to 2020, overseeing products, digital, innovation and marketing. Earlier at NAB, she was Executive General Manager, Deposits and Transaction Services.
Before joining NAB in 2017, Rachel spent 17 years at Westpac Group in a range of senior leadership roles spanning transaction banking, retail and business banking, transformation, strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Her roles included Executive General Manager, Global Transaction Services, Executive General Manager, Transformation & Delivery and Acting Executive General Manager, Group Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions. Earlier in her career, she was a Strategy Consultant with Accenture.
