  • 28 November 2013, ANZ today announced the results of its 2012 MoneyMinded Impact Report in Vietnam, which highlights the positive impact its flagship financial literacy program, “MoneyMinded Vietnam”, has had for young Vietnamese people.
     
  • 20 November 2013, ANZ and Saigon Children’s Charity (SCC) today announced a three year community education program called Project 3E: educate.enrich.employ, on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers’ day. Working in conjunction with Hau Giang Education and Training Department, the project will provide quality education to fight poverty, enrich people’s lives and support the employment prospects of more than 4,000 disadvantaged children and young people in Long My district, Hau Giang Province.
     
  • 07 November 2013, ANZ today welcomed the announcement that it has been ranked No.1 among foreign FX providers in Vietnam for the second year in a row in two categories: FX products and services and FX research & market coverage, according to a recent survey of corporates conducted by Asiamoney magazine.

  • 19 September 2013, ANZ announced the official opening of its representative office in Binh Duong, having received its final approvals from the State Bank of Vietnam.
     
  • 01 August 2013, ANZ announced the opening of its dedicated gold vault in Singapore, becoming the highest-rated bank with such a facility in Singapore. ANZ is positioned within the AA-band rating from the three major ratings agencies , and offers safe and secure gold custody for investors looking to allocate their holdings in physical gold.

  • 11 January 2013, ANZ Vietnam is now opening three of its full service branches in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on Saturdays to bring greater flexibility, access and convenience to customers. ANZ was amongst the first foreign banks in Vietnam to open on Saturdays in Hanoi since June 2010 and is now the only foreign bank to open on Saturdays in HCMC.
