3. This is a deposit product offered by ANZ. Deposits with ANZ of up to and including A$1 million in aggregate will continue to be automatically guaranteed by the Federal Government without charge. The $1 million fee-free guarantee threshold is calculated on the total deposits held in one or multiple ANZ accounts by each ‘legal entity’. For deposits of more than A$1 million, we will offer customers the ability to opt-in to receive the benefit of the guarantee for a monthly fee of 0.7%pa. This is the fee we will be charged directly by the Federal Government as a AA rated bank. 4. Special Term Deposit rate is current as at Tuesday, 10th November 2009 and subject to change. A minimum investment of $5,000 is required. This interest rate is not available with other offers.
