What is a $500 safety net?

A $500 safety net is an ANZ Assured facility of $500 credit limit that can be attached to your eligible ANZ accounts namely ANZ Access Advantage account, ANZ Access Select accounts and ANZ One account. This will help you safeguard against overdrawn account fees, declined withdrawals and bounced cheques.

  • You will need to pay interest on the amount of credit limit that you utilise
  • A $5 monthly fee applies to this product
  • ANZ's normal credit criteria apply to each application.
How can I apply for accounts online?

You can apply for other ANZ cheque/savings accounts online on the "Apply" page

  • Select the account from the list.
  • Complete the online application form.

Please note that the application forms will be external to your ANZ Internet Banking session, and while you are viewing this page your ANZ Internet Banking timeout limit will still apply.
