Making contactless payments
When making contactless payments under $100 with your ANZ card - simply follow these easy steps:
Let the merchant know you'd like to pay with your contactless ANZ card.
Confirm the amount, follow the onscreen prompts and hold your card to the terminal.
Wait until you hear a 'beep'. Collect your receipt if you'd like one and you're done.
And if you spend more than $100, you simply enter your PIN as usual - it's easy.

Is there a limit on the value of goods I can purchase with my ANZ Contactless card in Australia?
You can make contactless payments for any amount up to $100. For purchases over $100 you will need to enter a PIN or sign.
Are there any ANZ fees for using ANZ Contactless?
Standard transaction fees will apply and you wont be charged any extra for using the ANZ Contactless feature to pay for your transactions.
Will I receive a receipt for my transactions?
Yes, unless you advise the retailer that you don't want one.

ANZ Contactless transactions use the latest encryption technology, and are processed through the same, reliable payment network as chip card transactions - making them just as secure.
Can I use my card at retailers that don't have contactless terminals?
Yes. Simply swipe or insert your card and go through the traditional payment process.
Do I need to select credit, savings, or cheque when I pay using ANZ Contactless?
No. When using the Contactless feature on your ANZ credit card, the transaction is automatically charged to your credit card account. If you are using an ANZ Access Visa Debit card, ANZ Business One Visa or ANZ Business Visa Debit the transaction will come from your linked everyday bank account that you access by pressing 'Savings' or 'Credit'.
Can I swipe or insert my ANZ Contactless enabled card for transactions under $100?
Yes. If you prefer, you can use your ANZ card in the traditional way.
