We understand that from time to time you may experience one of those unexpected situations where your account becomes temporarily overdrawn. To help you keep track, we will send you an alert if your personal everyday account is overdrawn by more than $50. Knowing that your account is overdrawn can help you manage your money and help avoid further overdrawn fees and interest. How our overdrawn account alerts work:
To ensure you receive the alert, check that ANZ has your latest mobile number by calling 13 13 14
If you don't want to be alerted, just call the same number and let us know (or follow the prompts in the SMS alert).

ANZ does not charge for ANZ TXT Banking or the overdrawn account alert service. Charges may be incurred by your mobile phone operator.

* Temporary service interruptions may occur and is subject to mobile phone network availability on personal accounts only (not available on business accounts). Overdrawn account alerts are sent on an ANZ business day which is defined as Monday to Friday excluding National public holidays.
