Unclaimed monies
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Fiji Branch, publishes the names of account holders, in respect of which during a period of 10 years or more, no transactions have taken place in the account (Account) and no statement of account for the Account has been requested or acknowledged by the account holder.
Every account holder or their legal personal representative is required to submit a claim to any branch of ANZ within three months of the publication.
Should a legitimate claim not be submitted within three months, the Accounts will be closed and the funds in the Account will be paid to the Reserve Bank of Fiji.
