These are transformational times for business.
That was the message shared with attendees at the ANZ Finance and Treasury Forum 2019 in Singapore.
The event saw ANZ voices and globally recognised thought leaders address more than 200 CFOs and Treasurers from the region.
“Data is the currency of credibility.”

Eurasia Group president and founder Ian Bremmer told attendees embracing technology was a necessity for modern businesses.
“When I think about the 21st Century and I think about what you will need to succeed… I think about technology,” he said. “I think about AI (artificial intelligence) and big data.”
ANZ Group Executive, International Farhan Faruqui said data had changed the role of chief financial officers in business.
“Data is the currency of credibility,” he said. “And in the past decade it has surely elevated the roles of CFOs and Treasurers to enterprise strategy because you are the custodians of data.”
Primer CEO Sean Gourley said humans had a “good run” at the top of the intellectual food chain but AI meant that was changing.
“It’s changing because we’re building machines that can start to think like humans,” he said.
