We know it's important to keep your information accurate so we've made it easy for you to update your personal address and contact details online.

  • You can change these details for accounts that are linked to ANZ Internet Banking and those that are not linked.
  • You can also change these details for accounts that are linked to ANZ Internet Banking for Business and those that are not linked.

To update your personal address or contact details:

  • Select the "Update details" menu.
  • Go to the "My details" section.
  • Click the "Change personal address/contact details" link.
Step 1 - Read and accept the important information
  • Click "Continue" to acknowledge you accept the important information.
Step 2 - Enter new residential address details
  • Fill in your new residential address.

Note: Please do not use abbreviations for the Suburb/City.

Step 3 - Enter new postal address details
  • Click the radio buttons to specify whether your postal address is the same as your residential address.
  • If your postal address is the same as your residential address you do not need to fill in the address details again.
  • If your postal address is different, enter your postal address details.
Step 4 - Enter your contact details
  • Provide your home phone number, work phone number, mobile phone number or fax number.
Step 5 - Update your email address
  • If you wish to update your email address, enter a valid address into the "New email address" textbox.
  • Unselect the checkbox if you do not wish to receive promotional emails.
Step 6 - Specify which accounts the changes apply to
You have two options:
Option 1 - Apply the changes to all accounts
  • Select the "All accounts" radio button if you would like this change to apply to all of your ANZ accounts.
  • All checkboxes will automatically be selected.
  • The change will be applied to all ANZ accounts, including those not linked to ANZ Internet Banking, that are:
    • solely in your name, or
    • if you are a signatory on an account which requires only one person to authorise transactions.
Option 2 - Apply the changes to selected accounts
  • Choose the "Selected accounts" radio button if you want this change to only apply to specific accounts.
  • Select the checkbox next to the account(s) you would like to be updated with the change.
  • Review the list to see which accounts will be changed.
Step 7 - Submit your request
  • Click the "Update details" button.
  • Your lodgement receipt will appear to confirm that your request has been lodged via a SecureMail.
  • You will receive a SecureMail to confirm we have updated your details.
Important notes
  • Please allow two bank business days for your changes to be processed.
  • If your request is urgent, please call the ANZ Customer Service team on 13 13 14 (International callers: +61 3 9683 9999) 24 hours a day, seven days a week or visit any ANZ branch.
  • In the event that you have taken out insurance on ANZ products, you will need to contact the relevant ANZ Insurance team to update your address details:
    • Home, landlords and travel insurance call 1800 062 660 (International callers: +61 3 9918 5605) between 8.00am and 8.00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday.
    • Mortgage protection and loan protection insurance call 1300 552 253 (International callers: +61 2 9848 6772) between 8.00am and 6.00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday.

For certain accounts you may not be able to change your address through ANZ Internet Banking. Choose your account type below to find out more:

Investment accounts
  • To change your address or update your contact details for investments accounts (including superannuation savings accounts) please call the ANZ Investments team on 13 38 63 (International callers: +61 2 9234 8111) Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 8.00pm AEST.
V2 Plus accounts
  • To change your address or update your contact details for your V2 Plus Account please call the ANZ V2 Plus team on 13 28 33 (International callers: +61 3 8699 6994), Monday to Friday 8.00am to 8.00pm AEST.
  • Please allow two bank business days for your changes to be processed.
Statutory trust accounts
  • To change your address and contact details for Statutory Trust Accounts, please visit your nearest ANZ branch.

Can I change my address via ANZ Internet Banking?

Yes. You can update your address in one of the following three ways:

Option 1 - Via ANZ Internet Banking

  • Log on to ANZ Internet Banking.
  • Go to the "Update Details" menu.
  • Select the "Change personal/business address/contact details" link.
  • Update your current address and contact details.
  • Your details will be updated within two bank business days

Option 2 - Over the phone

  • You can contact ANZ Customer Service team on 13 13 14 (International callers: +61 3 9683 9999) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to update your address and contact details.
  • Your details will be updated immediately.

Option 3 - Visit your local ANZ branch

  • You can also visit your local ANZ branch to update your personal and business address immediately.
  • If you are a third party signatory on your business account, we will not be able to update your address on the business account via ANZ Internet Banking or over the phone.
  • Please visit your local branch to update your address.
What do I do if I have to update my details immediately?

If you believe that your details need to be updated immediately, you can contact the ANZ Customer Service team on 13 13 14 (International callers: +61 3 9683 9999) 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • For ANZ Internet Banking related enquiries, please contact the ANZ Internet Banking team on 13 33 50 (International callers: +61 3 9683 8833) 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Can I update my address for non-linked accounts?

To update the address on all your accounts, please select "All accounts" under the "General information" section while updating your address via ANZ Internet Banking. 

This will change the details for all your ANZ accounts that meet the following criteria:

  • The account is solely in your name or,
  • You are a signatory on the account and the account requires only one person to sign to authorise monetary transactions.
Can an additional card holder update the address for the card account?

No. The primary card holder for the ANZ Credit Card account is required to authorise any changes for an ANZ Credit Card.

How long does it take to update the address change in ANZ system?

It may take up to two bank business days to update your address in ANZ system. 

  • If your request is urgent, call the ANZ Customer Service team on 13 13 14 (International +61 3 9683 9999) 24 hours, seven days a week or visit any ANZ branch to update your address.
Why has address not updated on my E*Trade account?

The address cannot be changed via the ANZ Internet Banking for the following accounts:

  • E*Trade accounts
  • Investment accounts (including Superannuation Savings accounts)
  • V2 Plus accounts
  • Statutory Trust accounts.
How do I change the address for my ANZ Investment account?

To change your address or update your contact details for ANZ Investment accounts (including Superannuation Savings accounts), please contact the ANZ Customer Service team for investment accounts using the following details:

  • Australian callers: 13 38 63  (Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 8.00pm AEST)

How do I change the address on my V2 Plus account?

To change your address or update your contact details for your ANZ V2 Plus account, please contact the ANZ V2 Plus team on:

How do I change the address on my Statutory Trust account?

To change your address and contact details for Statutory Trust accounts, please visit your nearest ANZ branch.

How do I change the address on my ANZ E*Trade account?

To change your address and contact details for ANZ E*Trade accounts, please contact E*Trade on 13 33 50, option 2 between 8.00am and 7.00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday.
