How to complete eKYC Identity Verification

Your employer will need to nominate you for access to an ANZ banking service. Once registered, it usually takes just 5 minutes for you to verify your identity online.

Provide your photo ID

 

Provide one of the following forms of photo identification:

✓ Driver’s licence

✓ Passport

Document must be an original, not a digital reproduction, photocopy or certified copy.

Complete facial recognition

 

✓ Take a photo of yourself using your device’s built-in camera.

Accepted identity documents

Australian Driver’s Licence

A current Full Driver’s Licence issued in your name by any Australian state or territory authority.
 

Australian Passport

A current passport issued in your name by the Australian Government.

eKYC verification completed within Australia also accepts New Zealand issued identification.

New Zealand Driver’s Licence

A current Driver’s Licence issued in your name by New Zealand Transport Agency.
 

New Zealand Passport

A current passport issued in your name by the New Zealand Government.

Australian Passport

A current passport issued in your name by the Australian Government.

eKYC verification completed in New Zealand does not currently accept identification issued in any other jurisdiction.
