Changes to ANZ fees and charges

We’re making changes to some of our fees and charges. These changes will come into effect from 30 June 2025.

The main reason is to simplify the way our fees work, or to reduce or remove them entirely.

Changes to Trade and Supply Chain Tariffs

Fees we’re changing

We're making changes to these fees and charges.

Issuance Current fee New fee
Issue/Establishment  0.375% flat (min 5000) with a maximum expiry of up to 6 months  0.50% (minimum VT2500)

Please note this fee will be renamed ‘Issue (maximum expiry of 6 months)’.

Amendment Current fee New fee
Extension of expiry date beyond 6 months (from date of issuance)  0.375% per 6 months or part thereof (min 5000) 0.50% (minimum VT2500)
Increase in amount as for new credit

0.50% (minimum VT2500) on increased amount
Other Current fee New fee
Acceptance of term drawings 0.125% per month or part thereof (min 5000) 0.125% per month or part thereof (minimum VT7000)
Revolving credit on application
 0.50% (minimum VT2500) on application and on any reinstated amount

Collection from overseas bank/Handling fee   

0.375% (min 5000)

Please note these fees will be consolidated and renamed ‘Inward collection’.

Please note this fee will be renamed ‘Outward collection’.

SWIFT advice/fee 3000

Please note the ‘SWIFT advice’ fee will be renamed ‘SWIFT fee’ and will be charged once per instrument on initiation.

We're removing these fees and charges:

    • Other – Expired / Excess drawing
    • Other – Cancellation
  • Imports – Documentary collections
    • Other – Avalisation
    • Other - Documents released free of Payment
    • Other - Miscellaneous
      • per service/item transaction
      • per hour (as appropriate)
    • Dishonour – Documentary item
    • Dishonour – Re–presentation of dishonoured item – documentary item
    • Dishonour – Noting a bill
    • Dishonour – Storing and insuring goods
    • Dishonour – Protesting a bill
  • Exports – Documentary credits
    • Amendment – Amendment
    • Negotiation – Without Recourse to the drawer (where the credit specifically so provides, or the customer so requests and the bank agrees)
    • Other – Confirmation
    • Other – Acting as paying or reimbursing bank
    • Other – Acceptance of term drawings on ANZ
