Guidelines for completing the SA mortgage document

The Mortgage of Land Document is lodged by ANZ with the relevant state or territory land registry as part of the Mortgage registration process.

  • The South Australian Mortgage Document must be signed by all Mortgage Account holders (Mortgagors), and witnessed in the presence of an acceptable witness.
  • To identify an acceptable witness, please refer to the ANZ Mortgagor and Witness Acknowledgement form which has been provided to you. Have your witness with you when you are ready to sign this, so they can see you sign and date it (and sight any ID as per state requirements) at the same time.
  • All pages of the mortgage must be printed single sided on A4 paper, and signed with a black pen.
  • No alterations or correction fluid is permitted. If an error is made, you will need to print another copy or request a new copy from your lender. If the printed details are incorrect, contact your lender before proceeding.
  • The Verification of Identity page is to be left BLANK

  • All pages of the mortgage must be printed single sided on A4 paper, and signed with a black pen.
  • If an error is made, you will need to print another copy or request a new copy from your lender. Alterations, including correctional fluid, are not permitted.
