Q. What are the requirements to apply for the ANZ MoneyLine facility?

  • Applicant must be between aged 21 and 65 years old
  • Singaporean and Permanent Resident
  • Minimum annual income of S$30,000 p.a.

Q. Do I need to provide a guarantor or any collateral to apply for ANZ MoneyLine?
A.
There is no need to provide a guarantor or any collateral to apply for ANZ MoneyLine.

Q. What is the maximum credit limit that can be approved?
A.
The credit limit assigned to you will be up to 4 times your monthly income. For example, if your monthly income is S$5,000, you can be assigned a limit up to S$20,000 subject to approval.

Q. How do I use my ANZ MoneyLine account?
A.
 You can enjoy access to cash and funds through the following services as a ANZ MoneyLine account holder:

ANZ MoneyLine cheques

  • Make purchases, settle bills or place deposits into other bank accounts.

ANZ ATM Card

  • Use the ANZ ATM Card at any of the ANZ ATM machine as well as at Singapore's shared ATM Network* island wide - atm5. Withdraw up to $3,000 cash per day 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The card also gives you worldwide access to your account through cirrus ATMs when you are overseas and in need of cash.

*The ATM withdrawal limit is subject to a limit set by ANZ Bank or the respective Qualifying Full Banks, whichever is lower.

Funds Transfer

  • Transfer funds from your ANZ MoneyLine account to your non-ANZ account or another bank.

ANZ MoneyLine Term Loan

  • Draw down an instalment loan from your ANZ MoneyLine account, a cash loan with fixed monthly repayments over a tenure of your choice: 12, 24, 36 or 48 months.

Q. How much funds can I use each time?
A.
You can use up to your full approved credit limit. Every time you repay in part or full the amount you have previously utilised, your credit line gets automatically restored by the same amount. This means that you can draw on your line of credit repeatedly as long as there is available credit balance in your account. For example, for an account with a credit limit of S$10,000 where S$2,000 is used, there will still be S$8,000 credit balance available to you. After making a repayment of S$1,000, the remaining credit balance will be restored to S$9,000.

Q. How soon can I get my ANZ MoneyLine Cheque Book and ATM card?
A.
The cheque book will be mailed to you within 10 working days from the date of approval.

Q. Can I get an increase in my credit limit if I am in need of more funds on a permanent basis?
A. If you wish to have your permanent credit limit reviewed, please visit our credit limit review page. We will require you to provide your income documents to support the credit limit review.

Please note that should your income documents reflect a lower earned income than what was previously declared, your current credit limit will be revised downwards to reflect your current income.

Q. What is the ANZ MoneyLine prevailing interest rate?
A.
The prevailing interest rate for ANZ MoneyLine is 17.88% per annum or 1.49% per month. It is charged only on the amount that you use, and it is accrued on a daily basis.

Q. Do I pay only when I use?
A.
Yes, interest is charged only upon usage of your ANZ MoneyLine account.

Q. What happens if I do not utilise the account?
A. We do not charge any interest for non-utilisation. However, should you wish to terminate the account, you are required to inform us in writing. Note that annual fees are applicable and subject to interest charges.

Q. How do I know of payments due, when to pay, and how much I have utilised to date?
A. An ANZ MoneyLine monthly statement will be sent to you with details of minimum payment and due date. This statement will include all transactions for the statement period, such as details of your withdrawals and deposits.

In addition to the interest charges for the stated period, the statement will also reflect your credit limit and remaining credit balances to date.

Q. Do I have to make a full outstanding payment each month?
A.
You are not required to pay your account in full each month. You only need to pay the minimum amount due each month equivalent to S$12 or 3% of the outstanding amount due in your statement, whichever is higher. ANZ MoneyLine allows you to enjoy one of the lowest minimum monthly repayment in town. Please note that as long as you have an outstanding balance in your account, interest is calculated daily based on the outstanding debit balance at the end of each day.

Q. How do I make payment?
A.
Payment can be made using any of the following payment methods:

  • Cheque Payment: Mail your cheque and payment advice to Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. Ensure that your cheque is crossed and made payable to your ANZ MoneyLine Account No.
  • Cash Payment: Visit our Retail Banking Centre to make payment in cash.
  • AXS machines: Payment can be made at over 750 AXS Stations situated island-wide with NETS ATM Card or CashCard. For a list of AXS Station locations, please call AXS Hotline at +65 6560 2727 or visit AXS locations.
  • AXS QuickBill: Over-the-counter payments can be made at Cheers and FairPrice Xpress stores island-wide using Cash and ATM cards. For a full list of AXS Station QuickBill payment locations, visit AXS QuickBill locations.
  • Self-service Automated Machine ( S.A.M.™ ): Payment can be made at over 250 S.A.M.™ situated island-wide with your NETS ATM Card.
  • ANZ ATMs: Payment can be made from your other ANZ account's ATM Card at any of our ANZ ATMs.
  • Internet Banking: Payment can be made using the fund transfer service to transfer funds from your other ANZ accounts to your ANZ MoneyLine account.

Q. What must I do if I would like to repay in full what I have drawn?
A.
Please contact our 24-hour Customer Service at 1800 269 2269 to find out the full amount outstanding in your account for the necessary payments in full.

Q. How is interest calculated and what is the minimum interest charge?
A. As long as you have an outstanding balance in your account, interest is calculated daily based on the full outstanding balance at the end of each day.

There is a minimum interest charge of S$12.00 per month if you have any outstanding balance within the month. If you have excess funds in your account (i.e. credit balances), there will not be any interest charged to your account

Yes, your ANZ MoneyLine ATM Card gives you access to instant cash via more than 1.8 million Cirrus ATMs worldwide.

Q. Do I have to activate my new ANZ MoneyLine ATM Card?
A.
All newly issued ANZ MoneyLine ATM Card or replacement of MoneyLine ATM Card needs to be activated before ATM cash withdrawal. To activate your MoneyLine ATM card, please call our 24-hour Customer Service at 1800 269 2269.

Q. What if I lost my ANZ MoneyLine chequebook?
A.
You should call our 24-hour Customer Service at 1800 269 2269 immediately to place a stop payment on your cheque(s) so as to prevent fraudulent use, and arrange for an immediate replacement of your chequebook. Please note that a service charge of S$40 will be levied.

ANZ MoneyLine Express

Q. What is ANZ MoneyLine Express?
A.
MoneyLine Express is a programme which enable all Moneyline applicants to have both their MoneyLine account and their requested funds to be approved and disbursed within 24 hours.

Q. Who is eligible for ANZ MoneyLine Express?
A.
Applicable only to new MoneyLine applicants only.

Q. How can I apply for ANZ MoneyLine Express?
A.

  • Apply for the ANZ MoneyLine account and opt for ANZ MoneyLine Express in our  online application form or
  • Complete the ANZ MoneyLine Express PDF application form under the "Download Forms" page.

Q. What are the documents required?

A. All MoneyLine Express application with supporting documents have to be submitted before 10.45am on a business day (from Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays).

Q. Where do I collect the cash on approval?
A.
You can collect your requested cash on the same day at any of ANZ branches, as long as it is a business day. Our branches are open from Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Q. If I request ANZ MoneyLine Express funds transfer to a designated account, will the requested funds be credited on the same day?
A.
If you choose the disbursement of cash via fund transfer, it will be effected on the next business day. The disbursement of cash to another account will not be on the same day of request and is available only to non-ANZ accounts.

Q. Are there any fees and charges to apply for ANZ MoneyLine Express?
A.
Each approved application will require an express processing fee of S$50. The fee will be charged upon approval of ANZ MoneyLine account.

Q. How do I know if my ANZ MoneyLine Express application is approved?
A.
You will need to call our 24-hour Customer Service at 1800 269 2269 to check on the status before proceeding to the branch to collect the cash.
