How do I use the credit card savings and comparison calculator?

If you currently have an ANZ card, select your card from the 'Your current ANZ credit card' menu. The interest rate and annual fee for that card will be shown automatically. Then, select the ANZ card you would like to change to and the balance you wish to transfer to this card.

If your current card is not with ANZ, type the name of your card into the 'Non-ANZ credit card' box. Enter the interest rate, annual fee and the amount of interest-free days you have on this card. Select the ANZ card you would like to change to, then type the amount you would like to transfer to this card.

Click 'Calculate' to find out how much you could save in interest and annual fees.

If my current credit card is not an ANZ card, can I still use this calculator?
Yes, type the name of your card into the 'Non-ANZ credit card' box. You will need to enter your current card's interest rate, annual fee and amount of interest-free days. Then select the ANZ card you wish to apply for and the balance you are transferring, and click 'Calculate'.
How does the credit card savings and comparison calculator work?
The credit card savings and comparison calculator calculates the difference in interest rates and annual fees between your present card and an ANZ credit card, once you have entered your current balance. Both interest rate savings and annual fee savings are calculated separately. Interest is calculated on the current balance you input. It assumes a fixed balance for 12 months and monthly payments of the minimum balance due only.
What is an annual fee?
Most credit cards charge an annual fee. If the card has a reward program, the annual fee may also include a reward program services fee.
I don't know my current annual fee or interest rate. Where do I find this information?
If your current credit card is an ANZ card, simply click on the 'Rates/Fees' link on the homepage to view your current interest rates and fees. If your current card is not an ANZ card, you should be able to find out your current interest rate and annual fee by checking your statement, telephoning your card provider or by visiting their web site.
