A simple way to help keep track of your money with ANZ Alerts

We believe simple banking is better banking. That's why we introduced our range of alerts – to help you keep track of your money.

Overdrawn account alerts

Knowing that your personal saving or transaction accountdisclaimer is or may become overdrawn may help you manage your money.

At ANZ ATMs

We'll let you know if a transaction at one of our ATMs in Australia would overdraw your ANZ deposit account. You can then decide if you'd like to go ahead with the transaction or not (please note if you have an ANZ Assured overdraft facility, we'll only let you know if your transaction exceeds the ANZ Assured overdraft facility limit).

SMS from ANZ

  • We may send you an SMS to let you know your personal saving or transaction accountdisclaimer is or may become overdrawn. You can provide your latest mobile number at one of our branches, through internet or phone banking or when you applied for an account online.
  • You could receive the following SMS alerts:
    • You may receive an SMS, once per day, indicating that recent activity on your personal saving or transaction accountdisclaimer may make it overdrawn.disclaimer
