Filter or sort previous bills

Go paperless and receive online bills only to contribute towards achieving ANZ’s environmental sustainability targets.

  • If you need to find a previously paid bill you can easily filter or sort the list by either biller name, date range or both.

To filter or sort your previous bills:

  • Go to the "Payments" menu.
  • Select "View online bills".
  • Select the "View previous bills" link.
  • Select the "Filter/sort previous bills" link and follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Enter the search criteria
  • Biller: select the biller, using the drop down list.
  • Date range: enter a date range within the last 60 days.
  • The date should be in the format DD/MM/YYYY (e.g. 25/02/2010).
  • Select "Search".
Step 2 - View the search results
  • All results matching your selected criteria will display.
  • A maximum of 30 days of bills can be viewed at a time.
Important notes
  • Date ranges cannot exceed 60 days.
  • Bills are retrievable for up to two years.

Can I file a bill in the "View previous bills" page without viewing it?

No. To file a bill in the "View previous bills", the bill must be viewed.

  • If the status on the bill is "New", it cannot be filed.
How are the bills filed and how long can I access them online?

The bills are arranged in descending due date order in the archived bills section and can be viewed for up to two years.

  • The stored period for bills received via "View online bills" may vary between billers.
  • If you are having trouble locating a bill, please contact your biller directly.
How do I view previous bills?

To view previous bills, click on the "View previous bills" link.

  • This will allow you to view bills that you've already moved to the previous bills file.
What information is displayed once I click on the "View previous bills" link?

This page allows you to view bills that you have requested to be filed with previous bills. 

  • It displays the bill summary in descending due date order and also contains the biller name and amount due along with the due date.
How can I sort previous bills?

Previous bills can be filtered or sorted by the biller name. You must also specify the "From date" and "To date".

  • The dates refer to original due date of the bills.
  • Date ranges cannot exceed 60 days.
  • Bills are retrievable for up to two years.
Can I view a bill summary for previous bills?

Yes. When you are on the previous bills page you can choose to view the bill summary for the archived bills. 

  • You can then choose to view the detailed bill or pay the bill.
Can I de-register from online bills?

Yes. You can de-register from online bills any time:

  • go to the BPAY View™ biller list
  • select a biller using the radio button
  • then click "Deactivate Biller"

Once you've deactivated the biller you'll no longer receive online bills through your ANZ Internet Banking for that biller.

Important note
  • Your access to BPAY View™ is dependent on the biller accepting your registration request.
  • Second and final notices for bills will not be shown differently than normal bills. It is your responsibility to keep track of your payments.
  • If, for any reason, you are unable to access ANZ Internet Banking, it is your responsibility to organise alternative billing methods with your BPAY View™billers.
