Skip/unskip future payment/transfer

If you have set up a schedule of recurring payments or transfers in ANZ Internet Banking, you can easily skip the next scheduled payment/transfer if you need to. 

Step 1 - Navigate to "Manage future payments/transfers"
  • Select the "Payments" menu.
  • Select "Manage future payments/transfers"
Step 2 - Select the payment/transfer you wish to skip/unskip
  • All your future payments and transfers will be displayed.
  • Select the payment/transfer you wish to skip/unskip.
Step 3 - Skip or unskip the scheduled payment/transfer
  • Select "Skip next"
  • If you wish to skip or unskip your next scheduled payment/transfer, select "Unskip next"
  • You can only unskip transfers that have a "Skip" option
  • Once you have completed the action, the screen will refresh and a message will appear to let you know that your request to skip/unskip has been successful.

Note, you can only skip or unskip payments/transfers that are not scheduled for today. And you can’t skip a payment that is a one-off payment or that has a “Locked” status.

Important notes
  • If you wish to delete or skip a payment/transfer, the request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 11.59pm the day before the scheduled payment/transfer.

If your payment/transfer is a one-off, you will not be able to skip it.

If you want to change the payment/transfer date you will need to delete the future payment/transfer and set up a new one with the correct date.

How can I skip more than one payment/transfer from a recurring bill payment?

You can skip multiple payments from a sequence but you must skip each payment manually.

Important notes

If you wish to delete or skip a transfer, the request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 11.59pm Melbourne time the day before the scheduled payment/transfer.
