Customise my profile name

ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers can access multiple businesses/entities using one Access CRN. Each business has its own profile name, which you can select from the drop down list in the top right when you want to make transactions for that set of accounts.

ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers can access multiple businesses/entities using one Access CRN. Each business has its own profile name, which you can select from the drop down list on the top right.

To update a business profile name:

  • Select the "Update details" menu.
  • Go to the "Internet Banking settings" section.
  • Click the "Customise profile name" link.
Step 1 - Enter your new profile name

Your current profile name will be displayed.

  • Type your new profile name in the required field.
  • The new profile name should only contain letters, numbers and spaces.
Step 2 - Submit your request
  • Click on the "Save" button to submit your request.
  • This will refresh the page immediately and the current profile name on the top right of the page will be updated with the new profile name you entered.
Important notes
  • This function is only available to ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers with multiple businesses linked to the same CRN.
  • Different profile names will be assigned to each business.

Will customising the profile names also update the ANZ records ?

No. Customising your profile names for businesses will not change the official ANZ records.

  • The new name that you give to the business will only display throughout your ANZ Internet Banking session.
If an Administrator changes profile names will Operators see these changes?

No. Customising the profile names will only change the way the business profile names appear within your ANZ Internet Banking session.

  • The Operators cannot see these changes as they will be using separate CRNs, passwords and user IDs for each business.
Can Operators customise profile names?

As an Operator, you are not able to change the profile name of the business.

  • You need to use separate log on details (CRN, password and user ID) to log on to each business profile.
  • This function of customising profile name is only available to the Administrator and Authoriser users who have multiple businesses linked to the same CRN.
I keep getting a message saying that I have entered invalid characters. Why?

The new profile name should only contain letters, numbers and spaces.

  • If you have included any special characters (!@#$%^&*) the new profile name will not be accepted.
How long does it take to update the new profile name?

Once you enter the new profile name and save the changes, the page refreshes immediately.

  • The current profile name on the top right of the page will be updated with the new profile name you have entered.
Why can't I see the "Customise my profile name" link?

The "Customise my profile name" function is only available to ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers with multiple businesses linked to the same CRN.

  • Different profile names will be assigned to each linked business.
