Skip/unskip future payment/transfer

To skip or unskip a future payment/transfer.

  • Go to the "Pay and Transfer" menu.
  • Select "Manage Future Payments/Transfers" and follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Look for your payment/transfer
  • Look in the "Future Bill Payments" or "Future Payments/Transfers (Including Pay Anyone)" table for the payment/transfer you wish to skip.
Step 2 - Skip or unskip the next scheduled payment/transfer
  • If your payment/transfer is not scheduled for today, you will see a link to enable you to skip or unskip your payment/transfer.
  • If you wish to skip your next scheduled payment/transfer, click on "Skip/next payment” or “Skip next transfer" displayed in the “Actions” column of your payment/transfer. Note, you can’t skip a payment that is a one-off payment or that has a locked status.
  • Conversely, if you wish to unskip your next scheduled payment/transfer, click on "Unskip next payment" or "Unskip next transfer", you can only unskip transfers which have a "Skip" status.
  • Once you have completed the action, the screen will refresh and a message will appear to let you know that your request to skip/unskip has been successful.
Important notes
  • If you wish to delete or skip a payment/transfer, the request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) the day before the scheduled payment/transfer.

If your payment/transfer is a one-off, you will not be able to skip it.

  • If you want to change the payment/transfer date you will need to delete the future payment/transfer and set up a new one with the correct date.
How can I skip more than one payment/transfer from a recurring bill payment?

You can skip multiple payments from a sequence but you must skip each payment manually.
