Delete a future payment/transfer

ANZ Internet Banking allows you to delete future payments and transfers you have scheduled.

  • The request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking before 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) on the day before the payment/transfer or bill payment date. For example if you have a bill to pay on Wednesday your request to delete the bill payment must be submitted by 11.59pm on Tuesday.

Deleting a future payment/transfer is easy.

  • Go to the "Pay and Transfer" menu.
  • Select "Manage Future Payments/Transfers" and follow the steps below.

This will display your future payments/transfers summary.

Step 1 - Look for your payment/transfer
  • Look in the "Future Bill Payments" or "Future Payments/Transfers (Including Pay Anyone)" table for the payment/transfer you wish to delete.
Step 2 - Delete your payment/transfer
  • If your payment/transfer is not scheduled for today, a "Delete" link will appear in the "Actions" column of your payment/transfer.
What happens next?
  • Your future payments summary will refresh and the payment or transfer you selected for deletion will have a "Deleted" status.
  • The payment/transfer will continue to appear on this page until the payment/transfer due date when it will move to the View past payments/transfers function.
Important notes
  • If you wish to delete a payment/transfer, the request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) the day before the scheduled payment/transfer.

No. Any payment/transfer that has been deleted cannot be reactivated.

  • The deleted payment/transfer will be listed in the "Manage Future Payments/Transfers" page until the due date.
