To search your transactions:

  • Go to the "View Accounts" landing page. This is the first page you see when you log on to ANZ Internet Banking. If you cannot locate it go to the "Accounts" menu and select "View Accounts".
  • Select your relevant account from the list by clicking the account name and clicking "Go". This will take you to the account overview of your chosen account. Then follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Go to the "Transaction history" tab

Click the "Search transactions" link at the top of the "Transaction history" tab.

  • Everyday/Savings, Loan or Investment accounts will display the "Transaction history" tab by default.
  • Cards will display the "Card statement" tab by default.
Step 2 - Enter the search criteria and click "Search"
  • Account: this will automatically display the account you've previously selected. If necessary you can choose another account, using the drop down list.
  • Date range: you have two options:
    • Option 1: choose to search transactions for the last 7, 14, 30, 60, 90 or 120 days, using the drop down list.
    • Option 2: specify your own date range, within the last 120 days in the format DD/MM/YYYY e.g. 25/02/2010.
  • Search option: use the radio buttons to choose the transaction types to search for. Choose between:
    • all transactions
    • all deposits
    • all withdrawals
    • all cheques presented
    • cheque serial number range
    • specific amount.
  • The two cheque options will only be available for accounts that you have previously written cheques from.

When you are happy with your search criteria click "Search".

Step 3 - View the results

A list of your transactions will display, based on your search criteria.

  • If the list of transactions is more than one page, click on the "Next" or "Previous" buttons located at the bottom of the page or above the list of transactions to view the other pages.
Step 4 - Print the details (optional)

If you want to print these details for your own records click on the "Print copy" icon in the top right corner.

  • A print-friendly version of the page will display. Click on "Print" at the top of the page to print the page.
  • If there is no print icon in the top right corner please use your own browser's print function (Control + P).

How far back can I search my transactions?

For a V2 Plus account, you can search transactions for up to the last 90 days while for all other accounts you can search for transactions from the last 120 days.

What if a transaction was unsuccessful - will it still appear in my transaction list?

No. Only the transactions processed successfully to your account will appear in the transaction list.

How can I search transactions from the past 60 days or 120 days?

Click the "Search Transactions" link located on the "Transaction history" tab of the "Account Overview" page for any given account.

  • You may then select the date range from the drop down list or enter your own date range within the last 120 days.
What are "Outstanding authorisations"?
Where are transactions I've made today?

The transactions received today are shown under the "Recent" section on the "Transaction history" tab located on the "Account Overview" page. 

What information does my transactions list show?

The transactions tab shows the list of transactions carried out on a particular account for the date range selected. It lists the date a transaction was processed, description for that transaction, the debit or the credit amount and the balance after that transaction.

  • For credit card accounts and loan accounts, the transaction history page does not include the balance column.
Can I search transactions from before I registered for ANZ Internet Banking?

Yes. For a V2 Plus account, you can access transactions from the past 90 days while for all other accounts you can access them from the past 120 days. This includes transactions completed before ANZ Internet Banking registration.

How can I see my full statement?

You can only see transactions for a particular account via your ANZ Internet Banking. To view a full statement of your accounts, you will need to refer to your paper statements or online statements.

Can I delete transactions?

No. Once the transaction is processed to your account, you cannot cancel or delete the transaction. However, you may lodge a transaction dispute if applicable.
