Changes to ANZ fees and charges

We’re making changes to some of our fees and charges. These changes will come into effect from 30 June 2025.

The main reason is to simplify the way our fees work, or to reduce or remove them entirely.

Changes to Trade and Supply Chain Tariffs

Fees we’re changing

We're making changes to these fees and charges.

Amendment Current fee New fee
Extension of expiry date beyond 6 months (from date of issuance)

0.75% per 6 months or part thereof of the DC amount (min 50)

0.50% (minimum $50.00)
Increase in amount as for new credit 0.50% (minimum $50.00) on increased amount
Other Current fee New fee
Acceptance of term drawings 0.125% per month of the DC amount or part thereof (min 50) 0.125% per month or part thereof (minimum $80.00)
Revolving credit on application

0.50% (minimum $50.00) on application and on any reinstated amount

Collection from overseas bank 0.75% of the drawing amount (min 50) 0.50% (minimum $50.00)
Collection from local bank 0.75% of the drawing amount (min 50) 0.50% (minimum $50.00)

Please note these fees will be consolidated and renamed ‘Inward collection'.

Advising Current fee New fee
Advising 50 $25.00

 

Negotiation Current fee New fee
Document handling fee 0.35% of the drawing amount (min 50) 0.75% (minimum $50.00)

Please note the ‘Advising’ fee will be renamed ‘Advising (New)’

Processing Current fee New fee
Collection - international 0.25% of the drawing amount (min 50) 0.50% (minimum $40.00)

Please note this fee will be renamed ‘Outward collection’.

Outwards Current fee New fee
Issuance 1.75% per 6 monthly of the instrument amount (min 50) 1.75% (minimum $50.00)
Amendment - increase in amount only 1.75% per 6 monthly of the instrument amount (min 50) 1.75% (minimum $50.00) on increased amount

Please note the ‘Issuance’ fee will be renamed ‘Issuance/Half yearly charge’ and the ‘Amendment - increase in amount only’ fee will be renamed ‘Amendment - increase in amount’.

Trade loan - Prepayment 100 $40.00 per application
Trade loan – Roll over 100 $40.00 per application

Please note these fees will be consolidated and renamed ‘Trade loan’.

Shipping guarantee - Establishment 2% per 6 monthly of the instrument amount (min 150) 1.75% (minimum $40.00)
Air waybill release 1.5% per 6 monthly of the instrument amount (min 50) 1.75% (minimum $40.00)

Please note these fees will be consolidated and renamed ‘Shipping guarantee/Air waybill release’.

Please note the ‘Postage’ and ‘Courier fee’ will be consolidated and renamed ‘Courier/Postage’.

Please note these fees will be consolidated and renamed 'SWIFT fee' and will be charged once per instrument on initiation.

We're removing these fees and charges:

    • Other - Expired/Excess drawing
    • Other – Back to Back DC
  • Imports - Documentary collections
    • Dishonour - Documentary item
    • Dishonour - Re-presentation of dishonoured item - documentary item
  • Exports - Documentary credits 
    • Amendment - Amendment
    • Negotiation - Without Recourse to the drawer (where the credit specifically so provides, or the customer so requests, and the bank agrees)
    • Other - Confirmation
    • Transferable Credit - Draw-up credit - basic
    • Transferable Credit - Amendment
  • Exports - Documentary collections
    • Processing - Collection - domestic
    • Processing – Drafts and Bills Negotiated Not Under Credit <5000
    • Processing - Drafts and Bills Negotiated Not Under Credit >5000
    • Processing - Drafts and Bills on a collection basis
  • Guarantees/Standby letter of credit
    • Inwards – Amendment
    • Outwards – Amendment – complex
    • Outwards – Amendment – all other amendments
