Additional Terms and Conditions for Customers with Business Accounts

1 Application of these Additional Terms

These additional Terms and Conditions apply to the use of Internet Banking by You where You have a business Account Linked to your CRN. They differ in certain respects from the General Conditions and where there is a difference, these additional Terms and Conditions apply to the extent of the difference.

2 Issue of Passwords and Customer Registration Numbers

2.1 Separate Passwords and CRNs are required for each officer of your business who is authorised to access to Internet Banking. It is the responsibility of the principals of the business to decide which officers of the business will have access to Internet Banking and what level of access such officers will have (please see clause 3.5 of the General Conditions). An officer of the business who is authorised in writing by the principals of the business to have access to the service is known as an "Authorised User". We will issue CRNs and temporary Passwords to each Authorised User.

2.2 When an Authorised User leaves your business the CRN and Password of that Authorised User must be cancelled. Those person(s) authorised to transact on the relevant Linked Account can cancel any CRN and Password associated with that Linked Account at any time by calling 1300 366 992 (International callers dial +61 3 8699 6978). To enable us to issue a new CRN and Password (either to replace a cancelled CRN and Password or because an additional officer of your business requires access to Internet Banking), the person(s) authorised to transact on the relevant Account will need to call at the business branch with us. Each signatory will need to bring evidence of their position in the business and complete a Phone and Internet Banking Authorised User Authority form.

3 Multi Payments

3.1 Where available to You Multi Payments can be used for multiple bill payment (Multi Pay Bills), transferring funds between multiple Linked Accounts (Multi Funds Transfer), transferring funds to multiple third parties (Multi Pay Anyone); or your employees (Payroll Payments) using Pay Anyone with a single debit to a Linked business Account.

3.2 Pay Anyone registration is required to use Multi Pay Anyone and Payroll Payments. Any amounts debited from your Linked Accounts using Multi Pay Anyone and Payroll Payments form part of your daily Pay Anyone limit. For information about Pay Anyone, including the Pay Anyone Conditions of Use, please click here to see the "Pay Anyone Conditions of Use".

3.3 Authorised Users with the appropriate access level can use Multi Pay Bills and Multi Funds Transfer (see clause 3.5). Authorised Users cannot access Pay Anyone and are therefore unable to use Multi Pay Anyone or Payroll Payments.

3.4 The single debit in Multi Payments is independent of fees applicable to Linked Accounts. This means that the debit to your Linked Accounts will not count toward the free transaction limit on your Linked Account. However, Internet Banking fees do apply to Multi Payments, details of which can be found on the Fees and Charges page.

3.5 When You use Multi Payments the account statement will show the total amount debited from the Linked Account and the receipt number but will not specify details relating to the crediting of those funds to each of the other accounts or Billers. You can reconcile the debit amount on the account statement with the information appearing on either the Lodgement Receipt page or the Payroll Payments Receipt page at the time of the transfer or under the "Past Payments/ Transfers" function once the transfer or payment has taken place.

3.6 Receipt information will be retained by us for a period of 7 years from the date of receipt.

4 BPAY® Tax Payments

You may make daily BPAY® Tax Payments to the Australian Taxation Office only of up to $100,000 per day. This limit does not affect other limits imposed on payments using BPAY® (please refer to the General Conditions). You will need to supply your EFT code for BPAY® Tax Payments.

5 Special Risks of Internet Banking for Business Customers

5.1 The extension of Internet Banking to your business exposes your business to a particular risk of fraudulent use of Internet Banking, either by Authorised Users or by any unauthorised person who accesses a CRN and Password.

5.2 You acknowledge that using Internet Banking exposes your business to these risks and that, except in the case of fraudulent or negligent conduct by one of our employees or agents, We:

(a) are not liable for any loss which your business suffers as a result of any use (including unauthorised use) of any Password or CRN issued in respect of your Linked business Accounts; and

(b) may rely on all instructions received from, and is not required to verify the identity of, any person using a CRN and Password issued in respect of your Linked business Accounts.

6 Acknowledgement
