Graham leads a newly merged Commercial & Agri team.  This merger brings together our former Rural Banking business, New Zealand’s leading provider of rural finance services, with the Commercial business that includes customers in the corporate, property construction finance and commercial sectors, including UDC Finance.

Graham previously led the Corporate Finance team in New Zealand, responsible for providing corporate and acquisition financing, structured financial products, debt capital markets, leasing, project and leveraged finance, private equity and infrastructure investment to ANZ's Corporate and Institutional customers in New Zealand.

Immediately prior to his current appointment, Graham led ANZ's global Capital business in an acting capacity. This business provides private equity and leveraged debt capital to the mid market sector.

Graham has over 20 years experience in corporate finance and debt capital markets and has been involved in many of New Zealand's complex corporate finance transactions.

Graham graduated from Massey University with a Diploma of Horticulture (Dist) and a Bachelor of Business Studies, is a Charted Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.

David leads the Institutional business in New Zealand, comprising the business units focused on Institutional Client Relationships, Transactional Banking & Specialised Lending, Markets and Balance Sheet Management.

David previously led the team responsible for ANZ's Institutional clients in New Zealand.

He has more than 20 years experience in the finance and banking sector in senior advisory, underwriting and markets roles.

David joined ANZ in 2005 from Deutsche Bank Australia, where he was responsible for leading acquisition financing, refinancing and leveraged financing assignments for the bank in Australia and New Zealand.

Immediately prior to joining Deutsche Bank, David was Group Director & Head of Debt Markets at Bancorp New Zealand.

David is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand (College of Chartered Accountants) and New Zealand Institute of Management.

John is the Managing Director, Private Banking and Wealth, New Zealand.

John brings with him a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience having worked for ANZ's markets business for 22 years, holding a variety of senior positions in Singapore, Melbourne and New Zealand.

Most recently he was Head of Markets overseeing the trading and sales activities of the Bank's New Zealand dollar interest rate and currency products.

John holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Master of Business Studies.

He is on the board of Direct Broking Limited and was the inaugural Chairman of the New Zealand Financial Markets Association.

Fred leads the relationship management teams focused on our small business customers. 

Fred comes to ANZ New Zealand from Australia having joined ANZ in December 2001. 

He has held a variety of positions across the Group including most recently General Manager Global Commercial Banking, and previous to that General Manager Commercial Products. 

Other prior roles include General Manager Products and Marketing, Esanda and Head of Products and Marketing, Auto Finance, Esanda. 

Before joining ANZ, Fred was an Associate at McKinsey and Company.
