Self Help

Where can I turn for help?

Our specialised team, Customer Connect, can work with you or your business and establish a plan to help you get back on track. Options are available to manage the payments on your credit card, personal loan, mortgage, car loan or if you’re self-employed, any debts associated with your business.

Each application for assistance is individually assessed with a short or long-term solution tailored to provide you with some financial relief. This may include reduced payments, repayment ‘holiday’ periods, loan restructures or a reduction in fees or interest.

While we can provide support if you are facing financial difficulties, it’s also a great opportunity for you to review your budget. A break from your repayments is only a temporary solution; for sustainable change you may need to assess your spending and determine your priorities.

Everything you need is here at your fingertips. There’s MoneyMinded, its short interactive activities are designed to help you develop your money skills. And ANZ MoneyManager can help you understand your income versus your expenses and spending habits to work out a budget that helps you stay on course. Or if you’d like free financial advice, you can find your nearest Financial Counsellor by calling 1800 007 007.

These are just a few of the many free tools and resources available to help relieve your financial stress.
