ANZ is committed to increase employment targets for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. By the end of 2011, that means ANZ will work to achieve a target of 352 entry-level roles in its branch network.
Half these entry-level roles come from direct employment with ANZ. The other half will be made available to Trainees who have successfully graduated from the ANZ Indigenous Traineeship programs, where there are suitable roles available in their desired location.
An Indigenous Employment and Training Team have been specifically dedicated to achieve these outcomes.
