ANZ receives license from the State Bank of Vietnam to set up a 100 per cent owned bank in Vietnam: This will underpin ANZ’s plan to provide banking services to customers and companies in Vietnam.

ANZ Vietnam inaugurates its transaction offices at Arrival Hall, Noi Bai International airport: ANZ is the first foreign bank to set up its service arms at airport area. The transaction offices that are located at the two ends of the Arrival Hall having different counters that help serve many customers at the same time while ensure the comfortability and convenience of the customers who are mainly travellers.

ANZ Vietnam organized the lucky draw ceremony for its credit card promotion named "Win TV LCD Samsung with ANZ Visa Credit Card": This ceremony is held after the promotion starting from May 5, 2008 to July 25, 2008.
