New Zealand is a nation of achievers.

From young couples dreaming of owning their own home to businesses dreaming of success on the world stage, we set ourselves big goals. But we don't just dream – we act.

We are a small country, at the bottom of the world. But smallness and isolation has its advantages. We have access to a pristine natural environment and a unique lifestyle. Being small also makes us resourceful. To compete against others with greater scale and resources we've had to be smart, and innovate – and we've succeeded. In many areas of business, sport and society, New Zealand leads the world!

Why ANZ?

Established in 1840, ANZ was New Zealand's first bank brand. ANZ offers a full range of banking options, including personal, business, rural, corporate, commercial and institutional packages and private banking, as well as a commitment to community service. ANZ touches the lives of many New Zealanders.

ANZ's focus is on convenient, easy to understand solutions. An example of this is our International Banking Services team:

ANZ International Banking Services team

ANZ's International Banking Services team is dedicated to making your transition to New Zealand as easy as possible. This starts with our team in London who can assist with your banking enquiries and account openings at a time convenient to you. You will then find ongoing support with our New Zealand based team.

Your first weeks in New Zealand will be filled with excitement, but a smooth transition can involve much planning and preparation. When it comes to organising your finances in New Zealand, ANZ can help you along the way by offering:

We'll help you all the way

Our dedicated International Banking Services team provides a single point of contact to help you arrange your finances in New Zealand. They'll help you open an ANZ account and manage it for you until you get here. They'll also provide all the support you need to get your finances set up. For example, they can help you transfer money, manage foreign currency, give you information about housing in New Zealand, organise pre-approval of home loans and credit cards before you arrive and introduce you to pension transfer and migrant tax specialists if you need them.

Once you arrive in New Zealand, you'll have a dedicated Personal Manager who will provide ongoing support. Your Personal Manager can also put you in touch with specialists who can help you with all your financial requirements – for example, if you want to buy a house or set up a business. It's all part of the service.
