Barry Sowman
Head of Business, ANZ Solomon Islands

Barry Sowman was recently appointed as Head of Business in May 2010. He is responsible for Business Lending Portfolio, which comprises Corporate, Commercial and Small to Medium Enterprises.

Prior to joining ANZ Solomon Islands, Barry was the Chief Risk Officer for the North West Region, based in Port Moresby, PNG. Throughout his 20 years with ANZ, Barry has spent 16 years working within the Pacific Region, mainly in Fiji and Papua New Guinea. His roles have primarily been in the Corporate and Commercial Business sectors. In addition to maintaining Relationship responsibilities he has a strong understanding of credit risk within the Pacific.

Walter Malau
Manager Governance, ANZ Solomon Islands

Walter Malau is the Governance Manager for ANZ Solomon Islands. Walter was appointed in September 2010 and is responsible for the Risk Governance for the ANZ SI Branch.

Walter joined ANZ after four years with Solomon Islands Government, as Senior Auditor in Office of Auditor General. Walter holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree Majoring in Accounting & Financial Management.

Sean Stratton
Head of Retail Banking, ANZ Solomon Islands

Sean Stratton was recently appointed for the Head of Retail Banking in January 2011 and is responsible for both the retail and rural branch networks in Solomon Islands.

Prior to joining ANZ Solomon Islands, Sean was an Area Manager with the National Bank of New Zealand. Sean has 15 years experience in the financial services Industry, having held a variety of retail banking positions in New Zealand.

Edwin Shankar
Head of Treasury and Intl Trade, ANZ Solomon Islands

Edwin Shankar is the Head of Treasury and International Trade. Edwin was appointed in February 2010 and is responsible for the managing of all Treasury & Trade transactions of ANZ Solomon Islands.

Edwin has been with ANZ since 2004, holding various positions in Retail and Treasury. Prior to joining ANZ Solomon Islands, Edwin was Manager Balance Sheet, Money Market & Trading of ANZ Fiji. Edwin holds Diploma in Education and A Diploma in Business Management.

Josua Naisau
Human Resource Advisor, ANZ Solomon Islands

Josua Naisau was appointed Human Resources Advisor in December 2009 and is responsible for the management of Strategic Human Resources functions in Solomon Islands.

Prior to joining ANZ, Josua has held human resources leadership roles in statutory and corporate organizations in Fiji including the United Nations Development Programme. He holds a Degree, double majoring in Industrial Relations/Management & Public Administration and also a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management.

William Koregai
Chief Operating Officer, ANZ Solomon Islands

William is the Chief Operating Officer for ANZ Solomon Island appointed in February 2011 and responsible for overall operations support in country.

William joined ANZ in 1997 as a Teller and progressed through several roles to Manager Branch Network (Acting) ANZ PNG before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer to Solomon Islands.

Delilah Kekea-Homelo
Chief Financial Officer, ANZ Solomon Islands

Delilah was recently appointed as Chief Financial Officer in December 2010. She is responsible for the Finance & Statutory Reporting of the country as well as corporate services.

Delilah has been with ANZ since 2006 holding various positions in Retail and Operations. Delilah holds Bachelor in Arts Degree with a single major in Accounting & Financial Management.
