ANZ's Grain Growers Advance provides wheat and barley growers with cash flow financing, within funding limits calculated from the estimated value of the grain delivered.

Product information

Loan amount
Minimum $20,000 to a maximum of $10,000,000.
Loan term
Minimum three months to a maximum of 18 months.
Interest
Variable interest rate calculated daily. Interest is charged quarterly.
Fees and charges
  • No fees charged by ANZ.
  • Lodgement fees: only the standard Grain Board lodgement fee applies which ANZ lodges on behalf of the customer.
  • Government charges such as stamp duty (where applicable).
Repayments
  • Principal and interest based on quarterly repayments from the AWB/ABB (South Australia only).
  • ANZ is assigned the rights to the national pool payments from the AWB/ABB.
  • The distribution pool payments are used to directly repay the loan.
Loan advance on EPR
  • Advances based on 90% of the EPR/ESR value less costs as calculated by ANZ for both wheat and barley.
  • Option of choosing below 90% of the EPR/ESR to reflect 80%, 70%, 60%, 50% or less of the EPR/ESR less costs as calculated by ANZ.
Eligible grain grades
  • Wheat: all grades except Feed Grade and General Purpose.
  • Barley: all grades.
Security required

Choice of two options (subject to approval by ANZ):

  • irrevocable order assigning grain distribution payments to ANZ; or
  • irrevocable order plus standard first registered standard mortgage over farm - for higher EPR/ESR borrowing.
