Advance Ratio

It is common industry practice to refer to the percentage which can be loaned as the advance ratio. The factors that determine the advance ratio include: the type of loan, currency, quality, volatility, and liquidity of the securities among other factors.  This individual security review is then combined with a review of the overall diversification of your portfolio to determine suitability. †
