Features at a glance

Back-to-back letters of credit: issued at the request of an exporter who has an letter of credit in his or her favour which will be used as a security to source the goods which will be exported
Standby letters of credit: similar to guarantee and issued at the customer's request in favour of a nominated third party, and allows that third party to claim on the bank by making a simple demand. It will also require an appropriate credit limit in the name of the applicant.
