Peter Johnson
Managing Director, ANZ Samoa
Peter was appointed Managing Director for ANZ Samoa in October 2006.
He has held a number of Senior Roles in ANZ National Bank Limited in New Zealand and has an extensive background in banking.
Peter is a very experienced banker and has held a number of senior roles in ANZ National Bank Limited including National Manager Regional and Rural and National Manager Local Markets.
Previously he spent many years with ANZ National Bank Limited before moving to Samoa. He was also Manager Retail Bank Auckland, where he was responsible for the Branch Network for Auckland and North.
His career has focused on front line roles where he has had constant contact with both customers and staff.
Theresa Rivers
Chief Operating Officer, ANZ Samoa
Theresa is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for ANZ Samoa. She was appointed to the role in January 2007.
Before becoming the COO for ANZ Samoa, Theresa was previously part of the team setting up ANZ's partnership with the Royal Group Finance Company Limited in Cambodia. She worked initially as Manager Operations for one year then Manager Trade, Treasury and International Payments for 11months before returning to ANZ Samoa to take up the COO role.

Owen Thomson
Head of Corporate and Commercial Services, ANZ Samoa
Owen is the Head of Corporate Services and Commercial Banking for ANZ Samoa.
Owen was previously Head of Lending for Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Solomon Islands branch for three years and has an excellent knowledge of the political culture in the Pacific.
He is customer focused and strives for improvements and results. One of his initiatives was to build a specialist business centre, then assisted with the designing and development of the ANZ Business Centre. This has proven a huge success.

Mark Burns is the Manager Product, Sales and Marketing for ANZ Samoa.
Originally from Australia, Mark has held a number of positions with the ANZ Group in both Australia and Samoa and has been employed with ANZ Samoa again since 1998:
In his current role as Manager Product, Sales and Marketing with ANZ Samoa, Mark also looks after Electronic Banking, Sales and Marketing as well as Rural and Community Banking.
Mark has been with ANZ Samoa since 1998 after previously working with with the Bank of Western Samoa from 1992 through to 1996.
Su’a Ross Neufeldt
Head of Customer Advocate and Business Development Manager, ANZ Samoa
Su’a Ross Neufeldt is the Head of Customer Advocate and Business Development Manager for ANZ Samoa.
He is responsible for increasing the value of existing ANZ Samoa businesses and developing future business relationships by applying specialist Samoan community, Government, social and cultural knowledge.
As a customer advocate the role aims to develop and grow collaborative and productive relationships with government, community and business customers for the benefit of ANZ Samoa and Samoa’s economic development.
Su’a was with the Bank of Western Samoa before it was bought by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited in 1990. He has 30 years of banking experience and has been through many managerial posts within ANZ Samoa.
Catherine Jull
Head of Human Resources, ANZ Samoa
Catherine is the Head of Human Resources – ANZ Samoa.
The Human Resources function provides support to drive the people part of the ANZ Samoa Business.
As Head of Human Resources, Catherine oversees the strategies, processes and initiatives relating to employment and advancement of ANZ Samoa staff in Samoa.
Catherine joined ANZ Samoa in June 2008. Originally from New Zealand, she has a varied background in HR, IT and Management, gained through working in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Papua New Guinea. Catherine has worked in the Adult Education and Entertainment/Tourism industries as well as NGO’s before moving into the financial services sector.
Richard Stoks
Head of Risk, ANZ Samoa
Richard is the Head of Risk for ANZ Samoa.
Richard graduated with a B.Com (Otago), CA (ICANZ), MBA (Massey) and FFin (FINSIA).
He is responsible for driving the Risk Management culture within ANZ Samoa. The Risk function includes accountability for the overall credit assessment, maintaining credit quality and for ensuring operational risk and compliance with local regulatory requirements as well as ANZ Group’s own standards.
Richard started as a branch junior in 1981 and worked his way through a variety of branch banking functions up to Branch Manager. He also worked in the areas of Audit, Credit and Training.
Jae Stowers
Head of Retail Banking, ANZ Samoa
As Head of Retail Banking for ANZ Samoa, Jae is responsible for ANZ Samoa’s Personal Banking network, Prime Banking unit and Foreign Currency Express outlet.
She has a passion for change management and has 15 years experience in the banking industry.
Jae is keen in assisting community organisations with governance setup, financial reporting and strategic and annual planning. She has proven ability in adapting to change, effecting change, management process and taking innovative approaches to change.
She continuously identifies viable and strong Pacific partnership opportunities for ANZ Samoa; and has successfully set up new liaison channel with ANZ Pacific (and countries) working collaboratively on Pacific-wide distribution channels for new bank offerings.
She’s enjoys coaching ladies who are keen in the sport of netball, loves reading and socialising as well as working with the Pacific people. Part of her values is to maintain fairness and the dignity of people in all situations, live a life of truth and life/work balance.
Lynette Lees
Head of Treasury Samoa, ANZ Samoa
Lynette (Lyn) took up her new role as the Head of Treasury for ANZ Samoa in July 2008.
She is responsible for executing and providing Foreign Exchange Deals and Treasury services to all customers. She also manages the balance sheet and overlooks Trade Finance Services.
Lyn spent the last two years (2006 -2008) with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Cook Islands branch as the Manager Treasury International and was previously a Treasury dealer with ANZ Samoa.
