ANZ mails an account statement (PDF 630kB) in July and January each year confirming the allocation of any income distribution to you and details of reinvestment in additional units of the investment fund. You can also check these details at anytime via ANZ Internet Banking.
Income distributions from your ANZ Online Investment Account will be subject to income tax.
Capital gains tax
For most people, investments in the ANZ Online Investment Account will be subject to Capital Gains Tax rules.
Any franking credits that apply to your investment returns will be passed on to you.
Statements and tax records
You will receive a customer statement (PDF 630kB) around July and January each year confirming your balance, your transactions, the allocation of any investment income and details of reinvestment in additional units of the investment fund.
You can also check these details anytime via ANZ Internet Banking.
You will also receive an annual tax statement around August each year detailing:
- Any investment income received
- fees charged
- realised capital gains or losses
- non-cash items such as franking credits and foreign tax credits
