ANZ Insurance Rewards - Multi-policy and loyalty rebate

Be rewarded for the number of eligible policies you hold and for your loyalty.

Receive a rebate payment every six months if you take out or renew two or more eligible policies. Plus for your loyalty, depending on how long you stay with us and how many eligible policies you hold, you could get back up to 15% of your annual premium.

Eligible policies include:

For example if you take out an ANZ Home Insurance policy with both buildings cover and contents cover, you will be eligible instantly.

For more information about how the rebates work, see the 'How you can qualify for rebates' section of the relevant Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).

How are rebates calculated?

We calculate your annual rebate twice a year. As long as you qualify as at the dates the rebates are calculated, you can look forward to receiving half the annual rebate amount every six months.

For example*:

A customer who holds ANZ Home Insurance with both buildings and contents cover is eligible for a 7.5% premium rebate in the first year of holding their policy.

ANZ Home Insurance with both buildings and contents cover premium = $1,000 p.a.

Less Year 1 Multi-policy and loyalty rebate 7.5% = $75 (paid in halves every six months)

Premium paid in Year 1, less multi policy and loyalty rebate = $925.

FAQs

Who is eligible for a rebate?

You must hold at least two of the following eligible policies:

  • ANZ Home Insurance with buildings cover
  • ANZ Home Insurance with contents cover
  • ANZ Landlord Insurance
  • ANZ Car Insurance.

Note: ANZ Home Insurance with buildings cover and contents cover count as 2 eligible policies for rebate purposes.

How is the rebate calculated and when is it  paid?

The annual rebate is calculated twice a year as a % of the premium amount for each eligible policy – half of the calculated annual rebate will be paid at the end of each six month rebate period, either to your nominated bank account or by cheque.

Can a customer receive both a discount and the Rebate?

If the policy is eligible for a package discount (e.g. Breakfree, ANZ@work), or the over 50s discount,  the premium rebate will be calculated based on the discounted premium.

However, this offer does not apply and rebates are unavailable if an eligible policy has already received a multiple policy discount of any kind.

Can I still receive the rebate if a family member has a policy in their name?

Yes it is possible to receive the premium rebate. To connect the policies together, contact the customer service team on 13 16 14.
