How do I switch off paper statements using ANZ Internet Banking?

  1. Log in to your ANZ Internet Banking
  2. Go to the 'Update Details' menu at the top
  3. Click on 'Change Statement Preferences'
  4. Choose 'Online only' for your accounts

If you don't yet use ANZ Internet Banking, you can set it up by calling 13 33 50.

I can see online statements in my ANZ Internet Banking, but I still receiving the same paper statements in the mail. Why is that?

We've upgraded our statement system to make it easier and more convenient for you. This means you could automatically have access to online statements through ANZ Internet Banking even if you still receive paper statements. Switching off paper statements is easy and only takes a few moments

I switched to online statements on some of my accounts a while ago. Why am I still receiving paper statements for others?

Until recently, ANZ could only provide online statements for some account types. Now, online is available for most types, including personal loans and mortgages. So, you may wish to switch off paper on those accounts too.

Can I receive both online and paper statements at the same time?

Yes. Since we've upgraded our systems, you should currently be receiving both paper and online statements for your accounts linked to ANZ Internet Banking. You don't need to make any changes to keep receiving both.

The fine print
*If you opened your eligible account before 9 December 2013 and you have previously elected to receive online statements, you will be able to view statements from the statement period in which you registered. If you opened your account before 9 December 2013 and if you had not previously registered to receive online statements, you may be able to view your statements of your eligible account from the first statement period commencing after 1 July 2013.

If you opened your eligible account on 9 December 2013 of thereafter, you will be able to view historical statements from the day of opaening your account.
