To ensure the on-going stability and performance of ANZ systems , we will be performing scheduled maintenance  on Tuesday 4th March, 2014 between the hours of 12am and 6am (AEDST). 

What this means for you

During this time:

While ANZ merchant facilities, and the use of ANZ cards at EFTPOS and online merchants may experience issues during this time, ANZ ATM facilities and the use of ANZ cards at ATM facilities will continue to remain available.

We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause you.

ANZ Cardholders within Australia – what you can do

If you are unable to complete a transaction on your ANZ card:

  • You may be able to complete your transaction by electing to sign for your purchase (Instead of PIN)
  • If you have a credit or debit card with another financial institution, you may wish to consider using that card. You can also try this if you have been unable to use your ANZ card. Please check the terms and conditions of the other financial institution if fees and charges apply.  

Please note: ANZ Travel card and ANZ Prepaid Cards are not affected, transactions should process as normal on these cards.

ANZ Cardholders outside Australia – what you can do.

If you are unable to complete a transaction on your ANZ card:

  • Your ANZ card will be available for use ATM facilities during this time
  • If you have a credit or debit card with another financial institution, you may wish to consider using that card. Please check the terms and conditions of the other financial institution if fees and charges apply
