Q. What is ANZ BooknPay?

A. ANZ BooknPay is ANZ’s Internet-based payment solution for major credit cards. This product is offered to ANZ’s and Global BedBank Limited’s Resort Merchants. ANZ BooknPay gives such resorts the ability to advertise their accommodation details via the Internet and receive payment on line with major credit cards once the booking is confirmed.

The ANZ BooknPay facility is offered via the arrangement between Global BedBank Limited and ANZ, where Global BedBank Limited offers the booking feature and ANZ offers the payment solution.

Q. How do I join ANZ BooknPay?

A. It is simple. If you are an existing ANZ Merchant, all you have to do is contact your Relationship Manager or your Merchant Support Officer for further details.

If you are not an ANZ Merchant, then please contact the Electronic Banking Team based at ANZ House in Suva on telephone number 132411.

Q. How long does it take to process a transaction?

A. Transaction processing using ANZ BooknPay will usually take a matter of seconds. There are several variables that will impact your transaction speed, including the speed of your Internet connection, your network environment and any congestion on the web.

Q. Can I still use ANZ BooknPay if I don’t have an ANZ account?

A. ANZ BooknPay can only be used if you are an authorized ANZ Merchant.

Q. When will funds settle to my account?

A. Settlement occurs daily at approximately 8pm Fiji time on each business day. In normal circumstances, funds will be reflected in your Branch Account statement on the next business day.

Q. Does ANZ BooknPay support multi-currency processing?

A. ANZ BooknPay accepts Visa, Mastercard and JCB Credit Cards, and all transactions are processed and settled in local Fijian currency.

Q. How secure is ANZ BooknPay?

A. ANZ enhances the security procedures to preserve the security of personal information transferred via ANZ BooknPay. Where information is security protected, ANZ uses 128-bit encryption. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Accordingly, although ANZ strives to protect such information, ANZ cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

Q. How do I process refunds?

A. ANZ BooknPay does not enable automated refunds, therefore, all refunds will need to be carried out via your EFTPOS terminal, or a paper Refund Voucher.

Q. How does the Cardholder know that the purchase is confirmed?

A. Cardholders paying for accommodation with Resort Merchants will be sent a confirmation page when each transaction is confirmed. This is the primary notification for the Cardholder.

ANZ BooknPay generates an email notification of the customer's booking to the Resort and Global BedBank Limited. Global Bedbank Limited also has a cross-check system to ensure that the resort actually processed the booking into their system.
