Head of RBS Asia Integration Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited Craig Sims is the Head of Integration for ANZ’s acquisition of RBS Asia businesses. He is responsible for the overall management of the integration in the six Asian markets where ANZ has acquired businesses from RBS. Prior to leading the RBS Integration, Craig led ANZ’s business in 12 Pacific countries as CEO Pacific. Craig has more than 20 years banking experience, starting with The National Bank in 1984 and then joining ANZ following its acquisition of The National Bank in 2003. Craig has been involved in several executive roles including strategic planning, human resources, retail and business banking, as well as the successful integration of The National Bank and Countrywide Bank. Craig also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Victoria University, New Zealand, and is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. This role has accountability for a full range of ANZ corporate and institutional financial products, including Global Markets, Transaction Banking, and Specialised Lending, across these regions. Institutional comprises large domestic and multi-national corporates, financial institutions and the public sector. Commercial comprises emerging corporates and small to medium-sized enterprises. Mark has held roles across Australia, the US, Singapore and Hong Kong. He joined ANZ in November 2004 as Head of Sales, Markets before taking on the role of Joint Managing Director, Markets in 2005 and then Managing Director, Institutional Asia in 2007. Prior to joining ANZ, Mark worked at Westpac where he held several senior roles including General Manager, Global Investor Sales and General Manager, Institutional Banking, Victoria. Before joining Westpac Mark worked for Citibank and Caterpillar. Mark holds a Graduate Diploma in Taxation and a Diploma In Accounting from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). He is a Fellow of the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) and a member of the Financial Treasury Association Limited, the Australian Financial Markets Association and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In this role, he is responsible for driving growth and innovation in ANZ's businesses and partnerships in Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. He is also the CEO of ANZ's Indonesia business, as President Director, PT ANZ Panin Bank. Prior to this role, Joseph was Chief of Staff, Client Relationships, Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore. He has 25 years banking experience, spanning India, the UK, Ghana, Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong in a number of roles, including Operations, Corporate Banking, Project Management and Strategy. Joseph has an MBA from Stanford Business School, California. In this role, he is responsible for driving growth and innovation in ANZ’s businesses in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Europe and America. Gilles joined ANZ in 1997 after 10 years derivative trading experience in Paris, Tokyo, New York and Singapore, predominantly with Credit Suisse. During his time at ANZ, Gilles has held a number of roles including most recently Global Head of Markets, Head of Markets, Europe and America (London), and Head of Currency and Commodity Derivatives. Gilles sits on the Board of E*Trade, Esanda, and ANZ Pensions (UK) Limited. As CEO Pacific, Michael is responsible for the leading bank and business in the Pacific across 12 countries including American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Timor Leste and Guam, which together employ more than 2,000 people.
