Change my email address

To update your email address:

  • Select the "Update details" menu.
  • Go to the "My details" section.
  • Click the "Change email address" link.
Step 1 - Enter your new email address
  • New email address: type your new email address here.
  • Always ensure you provide a valid email address.
Step 2 - Choose whether you wish to receive messages from ANZ
  • Select the check box in the "Commercial electronic messages" section if you wish to receive electronic messages about products and services of ANZ, its subsidiaries and corporate partners.
  • If you nominate to receive these promotional messages they will be sent to the email address you specified in step 1.
Step 3 - Submit your request
  • Click the "Update details" button.
  • This will refresh the screen and a message will appear at the top of the page advising that your email address has been updated successfully.
Important notes
  • Please allow at least two bank business days for your changes to be processed.
  • If you use "View online bills" and receive notifications via email, the address you enter here will now be used for notification of new bills.
  • If you've nominated to receive notifications of changes to ANZ Internet Banking terms and conditions via email, you'll now receive the notifications to this email address.

Will my email address be updated immediately?

Your email address will be updated immediately within your ANZ Internet Banking.

  • It may take about two bank business days for this detail to be updated with in ANZ systems.
Will my new email address be picked up for online statements and bills notifications?

If you have elected to receive your statements "Online only" or are registered for online bills and receive notification via email, the email address you entered here will now be used for notification of new online statements and bills.

  • It may take about two bank business days for the notification to be sent to the new email address.
Can I use different email addresses for different ANZ Internet Banking facilities?

No. You can only provide one email address for electronic notifications.

  • The email that we have on record for you will be used to send you email notifications regarding new online statements, online bills and promotional emails (if you opt in to receive them).
  • If you do not wish to receive these promotional emails, please remove the tick from the box. This relates only to promotional emails from ANZ.
  • Please contact an ANZ branch or call the ANZ Customer Service team on 13 13 14 (International callers: +61 3 9683 9999) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, if you do not wish to receive any promotional letters from ANZ.
