Our "View online bills" service is the environmentally friendly paperless way to receive bills.

  • Linking a registered BPAY View™ biller to your ANZ Internet Banking replaces your paper bill for that biller.
  • When your bill is ready to be viewed we will notify you via your preferred notification method.
  • You can then view a bill summary, view a detailed PDF bill and pay the bill online.

On the view online bills landing page a list of your current bills will display with the bill description, amount due, due date and status of the bill, including new and viewed.

What is the "View online bills" facility?

"View online bills" is a service that allows you to receive bills online within ANZ Internet Banking, through BPAY View™. It allows you to:

  • view a summary of your bills
  • view a detailed bill
  • manage your bills and pay your bills.

On the view online bills page, a list of your current bills will display with the bill description, amount due, due date and status of the bill (new and viewed).

Do I need to register for online bills?

The facility itself is available without registration but unless you register a biller you will not receive any bills online.

  • When you add a BPAY View™ biller you are effectively registering to receive bills online from that biller.
  • The biller may take up to two days to process your request.
  • If successful your next bill will be received through your ANZ Internet Banking.
How do I register for "View online bills"?

The facility itself is available without registration but unless you register a specific BPAY View™ biller you will not receive bills online from them.

  • When you add a BPAY View™ biller you are effectively registering to receive bills online from that biller.
  • The biller may take up to two days to process your request.
  • If successful your next bill will be received through your ANZ Internet Banking.
How to add a BPAY View™ biller
  • Select "View online bllls" from the "Pay and transfer" menu.
  • Click on the "BPAY View™ biller list" link located below your current bills list.

If you have previously added billers a list of your current bills will display here and you can:

  • Click on the "BPAY View™ biller list" link.
  • Click on the "Add a biller" link and follow the prompts.

If you have not previously added a biller you'll need to click "Show me more" to proceed to the add a biller page.

What does the bill summary display?

View bill summary displays a summary of your bill including the following:

  • biller name
  • biller code
  • bill account number
  • bill description/your description (if any)
  • bill issue date
  • due date
  • amount due
  • reference number.

As soon as the summary of the bill is viewed, the status of the bill changes from "New" to "Viewed".

How do I file a bill?

Follow the steps below to file a bill with previous bills:

  • Select the bill using the radio buttons under the "Select" column.
  • Then click on "File with Previous Bills"
  • This will move your selected summary to your previous bills file.
  • This can be viewed for up to two years.
Can I get detailed bills in ANZ Internet Banking?

You will get the bill summary in ANZ Internet Banking. To view a detailed bill follow the steps below:

  • Click on the "View detailed bill" link.
  • This will take you to an external page provided by your biller, which will have a full version of the bill including itemisations and credits, etc.
How do I view previous bills?

To view previous bills, click on "View Previous Bills" link. This will allow you to view bills that you have already moved to your previous bills file.

What does the status field mean in BPAY View™ Biller list page?

The following are the statuses you are likely to see:

  • Active: this means that BPAY View™ is currently active and you will be receiving online bills.
  • Inactive: this means that you have already deactivated the BPAY View™ facility for this particular biller. Hence you do not receive online bills from them any more.
  • Pending: this means that you have registered for BPAY View™ for this biller but the biller's authorisation is still pending.
  • Deactivating: this means that you have recently requested to cancel your BPAY View™ service to view bills online for that biller. However, the biller has not yet completed this. It may take up to two bank business days for deactivation.
Can I de-register from online bills?

Yes. You can de-register a specific BPAY View™biller from online bills any time.

  • Go to "BPAY View™ Biller List".
  • Select a biller, using the radio buttons under the "Select" column.
  • Then click on "Deactivate Biller"

This will mean you'll no longer receive bills from that biller through your ANZ Internet Banking.

Important notes
  • Your access to BPAY View™ is dependent on the biller accepting your registration request.
  • Second and final notices for bills will not be shown differently than normal bills. It is your responsibility to keep track of your payments.
  • If, for any reason, you are unable to access ANZ Internet Banking, it is your responsibility to organise alternative billing methods with your BPAY View™ billers.
