Purchase an international bank draft
The purchase of international bank drafts is a convenient feature of ANZ Internet Banking. All you need is the name of the recipient and the amount of foreign currency required.
- Please note that if you are a business customer you'll also need your Australian Business Number (ABN).

- Step 1 - Select the account to make your purchase from
- Step 2 - Enter the international draft details
- Step 3 - Select the purpose of the draft
- Step 4 - Fill in your personal details and click "Continue"
- Step 5 - Review your information

To purchase an international bank draft:
- Go to the "Pay and transfer" menu.
- Select "International services".
- Click the "Purchase an international draft" link from the in-page menu and follow the steps below.

If the country you're looking for is not in the drop down list you will need to visit your nearest branch to purchase the international draft.
The total cost of draft (draft amount plus draft issuing fee) will be automatically calculated in AUD.

| Step 4 - Fill in your personal details and click "Continue" |

| Step 5 - Review your information |

Review all your information to ensure it is correct. If information is incorrect it may result in an unsuccessful draft or payment to an unintended recipient.

| Step 6 - Confirm your purchase |

ANZ Internet Banking for Business operators can click "Request authorisation" to submit the BPAY® bill payment to the relevant Authoriser or Administrator for approval and skip to step 8. Please note that ANZ Internet Banking for Business Authorisers/Administrators must authorise the transaction on the same day the transfer is lodged, otherwise the transfer will be expired and will need to be re-submitted. |

Yes. Your daily pay anyone limit applies for both Pay Anyone transfers and all your international transfers including the international drafts.

Purchasing an international draft will cost you $25.00 per draft. |
| How long will it take before I can get my international draft? |

It may take up to 24-48 business hours to process your international draft depending on when it was requested.

The international draft will be sent to your statement address or your mailing address.

| What if the country I am looking for is not in the drop down list? |

If the country you're looking for is not in the drop down list you will need to visit your nearest ANZ branch to purchase the international draft. |

Foreign exchange rates applicable to international money transfers and international drafts can be viewed via the "Foreign exchange rates/currencies" link under the "International services" section in the "Pay and Transfer" menu. |

You can see the currencies available to transfer funds overseas to and purchase an international draft for using ANZ Internet Banking.

| Why should I provide my address? |

|
You must provide your residential address (no P.O. box) to comply with the Australian Transaction Reporting Act, 1988. |
| Do I get any discounts on these fees? |

Discounts are not available through ANZ Internet Banking.
