Templates help you to easily create your multiple transfers. Once you have a template saved you can select it to populate your payments without the need to add the details for each payment individually. Editing a template is quick and easy.

How do I edit a multiple transfer template? 

ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers can easily edit a multiple transfer template.

  • Go to the "Payments" menu.
  • Select "Transfer between my accounts".
  • Click on the "Manage templates".
  • Select the relevant template, by clicking on "Select".
  • Then click on "Edit" and follow the steps below.

Alternatively you can:

  • Go to the "Payments" menu.
  • Select "Manage payment templates".
  • Select the relevant template, by clicking on "Select" Then click on "Edit" and follow the steps below.
  • Then click on the "Edit template" link and follow the steps below.

Step 1 - Make your edits

You can make the following edits to your multiple transfer templates:

Add more payments: follow steps 2-3 of the Make multiple transfers.

Remove payments: click the "Remove" button to the right of the payment.

Change the amount: click the amount field and type a new amount in dollars and cents with a decimal point.

Step 2 - Save your changes

When you are happy with your edits, click the "Save" button. 

Your template will now be updated and saved in your list of multiple transfer templates.

Why can't I edit my template?

You cannot edit a multiple transfer template if it has been used for a scheduled future transfer.

You must first cancel any pending future transfers connected with the template.

If you wish to delete a future dated transfer, the request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 12.00am (midnight AEST) on the day prior to the payment date.

Please note that you cannot edit a recurring or future dated transfer. You must delete and then re-submit a new payment.

You can change the amount or the account to transfer funds to by removing the manually replacing the details as necessary.

This will be updated immediately.
