Copy a multiple transfer template

Templates help you to easily create your multiple transfers. Once you have a template saved you can select it to populate your payments without the need to add the details for each payment individually.

If you create a copy of an existing template you can edit it and save it as a new template.

ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers can copy an existing multiple transfers template to create a new one.

  • Go to the "Pay and transfer" menu.
  • Select "Transfer between my accounts".
  • Click on the "Manage multiple transfer templates" link under the additional links section.
  • Select the template you'd like to copy, using the radio buttons under the "Select" column
  • Then click "Copy template" and follow the steps below.

Alternatively you can:

  • Go to the "Pay and transfer" menu.
  • Select "Payment templates".
  • Select the template you'd like to copy, using the radio buttons under the "Select" column
  • Then click "Copy template" and follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Enter a new template name

Copying a template gives you a starting point for creating a new template.

  • Enter a template name associated with the type of transfers being made.
  • Choose one that you will easily identify for future use.
Step 2 - Edit the template if necessary

You can make the following edits to your multiple transfer templates:

  • Add more payments: follow steps 2-3 of the Make multiple transfers.
  • Remove a payment: click the "Remove" button to the right of the payment.
  • Change the amount: click the amount field and type a new amount in dollars and cents with a decimal point.
Step 3 - Save your new template
  • When you are happy with your new template, click the "Save" button.

Your template will now be updated and saved in your list of multiple transfer templates.

When would I need to copy a template?

If you need to make payments, and have previously saved a template with some of the payments required, you can copy the template and use it as a starting point for your new template.

  • You can then enter a new name for the template and edit it as necessary.
What information is required to add a new multiple transfer template?

You need the following information to add a new multiple transfer template:

  • Template name: use a name associated with the type of payments.
  • From account: the account you wish to transfer funds from.
  • Payments: to make payments you'll need to know the receiving account and the transfer amount.
How long does it take to add/edit/rename/copy a template once saved?

Creation and editing of a new template is immediate.

  • Once saved, the page will refresh and the template will be updated immediately in the "Multiple transfers - templates" list and can be used for payment at once.
Can I edit the payments or accounts in the template?

Yes. You can edit, copy, rename or delete the templates.

  • You can change the amount or the account to transfer funds to in the template by removing the current detail and adding a new one.
  • This will be updated immediately.
How many payments/transfers can be added in a single template?

You can add up to 99 payments/transfers in a single template.
