Add an Operator
Managing Operators is an effective way for ANZ Internet Banking for Business Administrators to monitor user activity and control Operator access.
- You can easily add a new Operator to your list.
- The Operator will have an initial status of "Locked" and will need to be un-locked by the Administrator in order to access ANZ Internet Banking.

ANZ Internet Banking for Business Administrators can add and manage Operators online. To add a new Operator:
- Go to the "Manage Operators" menu
- Click on the "Add Operator" link
The "Manage Operators - Add Operator" page will display.

Fill in the required personal information for the new Operator as requested:

| Step 2 - Select the access levels |

Access: select the appropriate access levels for the Operator, using the checkboxes:
Click on the "Continue" button if you want to proceed. Otherwise click on the "Cancel" button. |
| Step 3 - Select the account access permissions |

Each account you've linked to ANZ Internet Banking for Business will display with account name and number. You'll need to set the new Operator's access permissions for each account.
If you choose the "View and transaction" option, you'll need to specify which types of transactions the Operator can perform using each account.
Please note that any transactions performed by the Operator will need to go through the authorisation process. When you are happy with all account access permissions, click "Continue". |

The Operator profile is created immediately. The "Manage Operators - profile created" page displays the following information:

The user's personal details are required in order to add them as Operators in ANZ Internet Banking for Business. The mandatory details are:
The optional details are the phone number and the fax number. |
| What is an Operator ID? |

The Operator ID is a unique ID created by the Administrator while adding an Operator in ANZ Internet Banking for Business.

| Can I create two Operators with the same ID? |

|
No. Two Operators cannot have the same Operator ID.
|
| Can Operators authorise payments with "View and Transaction" access? |
|---|
|
No. Giving access to view and transaction only allows the Operators to create payments under the permitted functions.

| What can an Operator do with the different access levels? |

The access level for an Operator can be changed any time by the Administrator. |
