If you are having issues accessing ANZ Internet Banking there are a number of things you can do to make your web browser more compatible.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that changing these settings will not affect any other software or functions on your computer.
Choose your web browser and follow the instructions.
- Select "Tools" from the browser menu bar and then choose "Internet options" from the drop down menu.
- If this isn't visible, press the "Alt" key on your keyboard to display the menu bar.

- Then click the "Custom level" button.
- In the "Security settings" window, scroll down to the "Java permissions (or Software channel permissions)" area, and select "Medium" safety.

- Hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard

- Ensure the "Empty the cache" box is checked.
- In the "Clear data from this period" section ensure "Everything" is selected from the drop down menu.
- Click "Clear browsing data".

- Go to the "Privacy" section of the "Under the hood" tab and click "Content settings".
- In the "Content settings" window, select "pop-ups" from the "Features" menu.
- Click on the "Exceptions" button.
- Click the "Add" button and in the new window, type "www.anz.com" into the space provided (within the Pattern field). Then click "OK".
- We also recommend adding salmat.bpayview.com.au in the same way.
- Once the address appears in the pop-up exceptions list, click the "Close" on the bottom right.

If you have forgotten your ANZ Internet Banking password and/or have tried to log on to ANZ Internet Banking with an incorrect password, your ANZ Internet Banking will be suspended after three incorrect attempts.
- Please contact the ANZ Internet Banking team on 13 33 50 (International callers: +61 3 9683 8833) 24 hours a day, seven days a week to reset your password.
- ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers, please contact the ANZ Internet Banking for Business team on 1800 269 242 between 8.00am to 8.00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday to reset your password.
An ANZ Customer Service Consultant will provide you a temporary password, which you'll need to change on your first log on.
If you are an ANZ Internet Banking for Business Operator you must contact your Administrator to reset your password.

There can be many reasons for not being able to log on to ANZ Internet Banking.
- Incorrect CRN or password: you'll need to have your CRN confirmed or your password reset.
- CRN suspended: after three unsuccessful log on attempts, your CRN will be suspended. You will not be able to log on to ANZ Internet Banking until the CRN is un-suspended or password is reset.
- Your CRN is locked: your CRN may be locked for such reasons as unauthorised use or other security issues. ANZ will lock your CRN upon your request if you suspect security issues with your computer. ANZ will also lock your CRN if there has been a suspected fraudulent transaction using your ANZ Internet Banking CRN or a related CRN.

- Always ensure you are accessing the correct website. Check whether it states "ANZ Australia" on the top left hand corner. Always start by entering the address www.anz.com into the address bar.
- There may be issues with your browser settings or operating system.
- The pop-up windows may be blocked.
- The overnight processing at ANZ takes place from approximately 9.30pm to 4.00am (AEST) Monday to Friday. During this time you may have limited access to your accounts within ANZ Internet Banking.
- The ANZ website is regularly maintained for housekeeping purposes on Sunday mornings, between 1.00am and 4.00am (AEST), which may cause interruptions to your ANZ Internet Banking. This time frame is chosen, as there is minimal customer usage of the site during this time.
- From time to time, ANZ Internet Banking technicians need to perform additional maintenance on the system. This is normally scheduled for the weekends and a notification message is provided to ANZ Internet Banking customers on the day of the scheduled outage.
