How can I apply for accounts online?

You can apply for ANZ cheque/savings accounts online from the "Apply for" page.

  • Click on "Apply online for an account" link.
  • Select the account from the list.
  • Complete the online application form.

Please note that this page is external to your ANZ Internet Banking session, and while you are viewing this page your ANZ Internet Banking timeout limit will still apply.

You can apply for a range of the other ANZ products online as follows:

  • Home loans
  • Personal loans
  • Savings and Investment accounts
  • Insurance products
  • ANZ Credit Cards
  • Everyday accounts.
What are the advertisements I can see displayed in ANZ Internet Banking?

ANZ has introduced product and service offers that are available for you to apply for online.

  • These offers will be displayed from time to time in your ANZ Internet Banking.
What are the "Current offers"?

Current offers are product offers, applicable to your accounts, which we think may interest you.

  • Click on the offer to find out more about the product.
  • From there you can decide to accept or decline the offer.
  • After you have accepted or declined an offer it will not appear again for up to six months.
Why can't I access the "Current offers" and "Apply for" pages?

ANZ Internet Banking for Business customers cannot access these pages in their ANZ Internet Banking as the current offers are not available on business accounts.

Can I apply for a new credit card on the "Apply for" page?

Yes. You can apply for ANZ Credit Cards online via a link on this page. You can also perform the following functions on this page to get more information about the credit cards offered by ANZ:

  • View full range of ANZ Credit Cards
  • Apply for ANZ Credit Cards online
  • Access Card Selector Wizard to select a right credit card for you
  • Compare the features of all ANZ Credit Cards
  • Protecting your ANZ Credit Card from theft and fraud
  • Balance transfer.

Can I apply online for a term deposit for my business?

No. You cannot request online to open a term deposit for a business.

  • You can visit any ANZ branch or contact your Relationship Manager to apply for a business term deposit account.
