Do you have a query about a transaction made to or from your account?

  • You can find out exactly what came into and out of your account by using our search transaction tool.
  • It allows you to search through transactions made up to 2 years ago.
Step 1 - Navigate to "Search" to select your account
  • Select your account from the home page.
  • Select the "Search" icon on the "Transactions" tab..
Step 2 - Select "Search" icon
  • Account: this will automatically display the account you've previously selected. If necessary you can choose another account.
  • Search Period: you have three options:
    • Option 1: from the “Duration” selection, choose to search for transactions for the past 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 120 days as well as Previous Month and Current Month.
    • Option 2: from the ‘Duration” selection, select “Other” choose your own number of days
    • Option 3: from the “Date Range” selection, specify your own date range
  • Search option: choose the transaction types to search for. Choose between:
    • all transactions
    • all deposits
    • all withdrawals
    • all cheques presented
    • cheque serial number range
    • amount range.
  • The two cheque options will only be available for accounts that you have previously written cheques from.

When you are happy with your search criteria select "Search".

Step 3 - View the results

A list of your transactions will display, based on your search criteria.

Step 4 - Print the details

If you wish to print your transactions for your own records, select the "Print" icon at the top of the page.

  • A print-friendly version of the page will display. Select "Print" at the top of the page to print your transaction history.
  • If there is no “Print” icon please use your own browser's print function.

How far back can I search my transactions?

For a V2 Plus account, you can search transactions for up to the last 90 days, while for all other accounts you can search for transactions from the last 120 days.

What if a transaction was unsuccessful - will it still appear in my transaction list?

No. Only the transactions processed successfully to your account will appear in the transaction list.

How can I search transactions from the past two years?

Select the account you wish to search from the home page. Then in the “Transactions” tab, select the “Search” icon.

You may then select the date range or enter your own date range within the past two years (except V2 Plus accounts which allow you to search transactions in the last 90 days.)

What are "Outstanding authorisations"?
Where are transactions I've made today?

The transactions received today are shown in the "Recent" section of the "Transactions" tab for your selected account.

What information does my transactions list show?

The “Transactions” tab shows the list of transactions carried out on a particular account. It lists the date a transaction was processed, description for that transaction, the debit or the credit amount and the balance after that transaction.

For credit card accounts and loan accounts, the transaction history page does not include the balance column.

Can I search transactions from before I registered for ANZ Internet Banking?

Yes. For a V2 Plus account, you can access transactions from the past 90 days while for all other accounts you can access them from the past 120 days. This includes transactions completed before ANZ Internet Banking registration.

How can I see my full statement?

You can only see transactions for a particular account via your ANZ Internet Banking. To view a full statement of your accounts, you will need to refer to your paper statements or online statements.

Can I delete transactions?

No. Once the transaction is processed to your account, you cannot cancel or delete the transaction. However, you may lodge a transaction dispute if applicable.
